So my Sonoma is again having its fun electrical issue. Will start fine sometimes but sometimes will make the clicking as if the battery is dead and the dash lights will flicker. I have been able to fix it by removing the screw in terminals and reconnecting. Any ideas? Cat tax paid in full!

sounds like a terminal connection at battery is loose ... or your cable is grounding somewhere that’s not supposeta.
Grab the cables attached to the battery and yank on them a bit... make sure nothing is loose. Then trace red cable as much as you could to make sure it’s not frayed and nothing is touching anything metal on frame.
Take your stinkin battery to autozone and have them check it to make sure it’s not dead.

My Blazer does that sometimes, I just jiggle the battery connections and then it’s fine. What I should be doing is what partypooper said to do....

If your battery looks something like this, I found your problem
solution is to clean it... wire brush. maybe some vinegar.

There is a little of that but not much, I have cleaned it out with electrical contact cleaner a few times. Seems to work. What causes it?

Corrosion on the terminals is due to hydrogen gas being released from the acid in the battery. It mixes with other things in the atmosphere under the hood and produces the corrosion you see on the terminals. Generally, if the corrosion is occurring on the negative terminal, your system is probably undercharging.
Get something like this to clean male and female parts.
Corrosion prevents a good contact causing symptoms you described

clean the wire connectors anyway tho. New battery won’d do you no good if you still can’t make a good connection.
